Cape Hake - Merluccius capensis/paradoxus
Cape Hake is very similar to the cod, but is officially not a member of its family. This specie is very popular by the population around the Mediterranean Sea. It’s well known as the 'Merluza'. The fillets are boneless and skin on. Hake is an often used material for the Dutch 'Lekkerbek'.
