Monkfish - Lophius litulon
The monkfish is a very special fish. The massive head of this animal is larger than its entire body. This fish lives on the bottom of the sea waiting there for his prey. When a prey approaches, they get sucked in by the monkfish's large mouth. The fillets are bone- and skinless. All our monkfish is fully traceable and is strictly controlled by our quality assurance inspectors at the factories. The fillet has a firm structure and a fine taste. Monkfish is a popular fish in various well-known restaurants.
